Cub Creek Science Camp is on a 240-acre ranch surrounded by glorious nature and wildlife.  Many opportunities exist to explore and discover exciting things about the world of nature.Taking time to stop and actually see the wonder of microorganisms, or look closely at the belly of a small salamander, understand what makes crystals, or how plants reproduce: all this and much more are part of the nature programs at camp. At Cub Creek Science Camp we believe learning should be fun and when kids are given the opportunity to investigate their passions, learning happens naturally while they are having a fantastic adventure.

Our week long courses can be broken down into 6 main categories;

  1. Animals Activities
  2. Arts and Crafts Activities
  3. Adventure Activities
  4. Nature Activities
  5. Science Activities
  6. Traditional Activities.

While several courses could be in more than one category, below is a list of the Nature Courses offered at Cub Creek Science Camp.

  1. Geology
  2. Jr. Naturalist
  3. Pond Study
  4. Botany
  5. Animal Safari

Being located in the woods, doesn't mean that a camp offers a true "nature" focus. At Cub Creek Science Camp, we do offer specific "nature" course. Our on-site Master Naturalist oversees all of the Nature Programs at Cub Creek and is sure to capture the interest of any nature-loving campers.

Science is simply the process of solving a problem or answering a question. Children are born with a natural curiosity about the world around them and at Cub Creek Science Camp we reinforce that curiosity is the fundamental ingredient of all great thinkers.
