School Field Trip Policy
Dress Code: Participants should dress for the weather. Closed toe shoes (sneakers, boots, etc. are required for all field trip participants entering the camp. Participants with wearing sandals, flip-flops or other open toe shoes will be unable to participate.
Reservations: We recommend requesting a field trip at least one month in advance of the desired date. If a field trip must be canceled due to weather or for other reasons, we will try our best to reschedule. After May 10th, we will be unable to schedule or reschedule a field trip until September 1st.
Payment Policy: Payment for field trips is due the day of the trip. Payment is required for every student and chaperone, teachers and assistant teachers may attend the field trip free of charge. We accept payments in the form of cash or check.
Chaperone Requirements: Cub Creek Science Camp requires at least 1 teacher be present with every group of 25 students. Cub Creek suggests a ratio of 1 adult (teacher or chaperone) for every 10 children.
Participant Eligibility: Cub Creek Science Camp is open to everyone regardless of age, gender, religion, race, or disability. Participants must be able to follow the instructions of our staff and tour guides. Participants unable to follow instructions may be asked to prematurely leave the program.
Wheel Chair Accessibility: The majority of the field trip will be wheelchair accessible. If you have a student, teacher or chaperone requiring special assistance please notify us at the time of reservation and we would be happy to work with you to make accommodations.
NOTICE: Cub Creek Science Camp will not be held liable for injuries incurred during a field trip.
